Dr. Yashar is a Board certified specialist in Oral Implantology and Periodontics. Dr. Yashar obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious USC School of Dentistry. Following her dental training, she completed a three year post-graduate residency program in Advanced Periodontology and Implantology at University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago. During her training, she obtained a Master of Science degree in Oral sciences, where she conducted research in Implant dentistry and CBCT scan technology. Dr. Yashar also obtained training and is licensed in advanced Intravenous IV sedation for better patient comfort.
Dr. Yashar is certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Periodontics. Dr. Yashar has achieved the highest level of training and certification possible in her profession. Dr. Yashar has also been published in the Journal of Periodontology. She is currently the president and co-founder of The Simi Valley Implant Study Club.
